Coming from the Green Mountain State, real estate agent Jay Wright has always had an affinity for the snow. Now residing in the Roaring Fork Valley, Jay serves clients in the Colorado area. These specific areas include Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. He loves the outdoors and can share that joy with his clients as they look for their dream home and lifestyle. 

Jay has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont where he studied computer engineering. Jay spent the early years of his career in the technology industry working in consulting and sales for well-known companies such as Accenture, General Electric, and IBM. Upon moving to Aspen, he shifted gears into the construction industry, where he spent the next 10 years in project management and sales for a technology company that specialized in designing and installing high-end low voltage systems in luxury homes. Jay and his team were involved in the design and build of over 100+ homes over Jay’s tenure, including projects in Aspen, London, Dallas, and Los Angeles. His experiences and interactions sparked a desire to join the real estate industry full-time in 2014. 

The tech-savvy mindset that Jay has, naturally sets him apart from others. His background in sales and project management also assists him when navigating relationships, ensuring that transactions go successfully, with diplomacy and effectiveness. Jay doesn’t just show up, close the deal, and call it a day. He’s truly dedicated to this industry and the clients he serves. He spends an ample amount of time learning about the industry and specifically enjoys learning everything he can about the investment side of the business. Jay's thorough and calm demeanor makes working with him a pleasurable experience. During a generally stressful process, Jay guides his clients with ease through buying and selling.

Jay focuses on the Snowmass, Basalt and Willits areas, but has ample experience and knowledge in the Aspen, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs markets as well. The success Jay has seen throughout his career as a Realtor® has earned him notable accomplishments. Just recently he was nominated as one of the “Brokers to Watch” in Sotheby's International Realty’s special advertising campaign, placed in the Aspen Sojourner. 

As an avid outdoorsman and endurance athlete, Jay loves Colorado and all that it has to offer. The energetic mountain town keeps him busy, but the beautiful surroundings keep him grounded. When Jay isn’t deep in the trenches of his business, you can find him riding his mountain bike on local trails, running on mountain ridges, skiing at Snowmass or Aspen Highlands, or spending time with his wife and pup.

Prior to becoming a Realtor®, Jay was fortunate to be involved in the design and build of over 100 luxury properties between Aspen, Telluride, Dallas, Los Angeles, and London. He has represented clients in a wide range of real estate sales; from vacant land to vacation condominiums, to large-scale multi-million dollar residences.
