"Your Snowmass and Mid-Valley Specialist
Growing up in northern Vermont, Jay has always had a love for the mountain lifestyle. After graduating from University of Vermont (UVM) in 1999 with a BS in Computer Engineering, Jay moved to Boston to work for Accenture as a consultant. Jay spent the early years of his career in the technology industry working in consulting and sales for well-known companies such as Accenture, General Electric, and IBM. The mountains continued to call though and Jay eventually moved to Boulder, CO. After spending 5 years in Boulder, Jay made the move Aspen to take a project management position with a home technology company that specialized in designing and installing very high end Audio Visual, lighting, shading and network systems in luxury homes in Aspen and around the world. Jay was fortunate to manage the design and build of these elaborate systems in over 100 different high-end residences between Aspen, Telluride, Dallas, Los Angeles and London, most of which were new builds or full remodels.
In 2014, Jay got his real estate license and began his real estate career in the Roaring Fork Valley. Jay specializes in property sales for buyers and sellers in the Snowmass, Basalt, and Carbondale markets, with a niche expertise in Snowmass condominiums. Jay delivers the highest level of knowledge, service and expertise to his clients in their real estate matters, and his construction background and well-connected network of professionals in the building and real estate industries certainly adds a lot of value to his clients.
When Jay isn't working, you can most often find him adventuring in the surrounding high country. He spends his summers mountain biking, trail running and camping. The winters typically involve having skis underfoot, whether it be uphilling, alpine skiing or nordic skiing. Jay is an endurance athlete and spent 13 years racing mountain bikes, competing in races throughout Colorado for fun. He has competed in the famous Leadville 100 mountain bike race, the Firecracker 50 and many other events through the years. He finds a lot of enjoyment in trail running these days, and occasionally hops into a trail marathon or two each year with his running crew. Jay is also an avid hunter and conservationist and spends a lot of time in the late fall in the Colorado high country and northern Maine forest enjoying being immersed in nature.
Jay lives in Basalt with his lovely wife Meghan and their sweet dog Frank."
